  1. Download the zip file Coreinfo tools and extract the file to get the file coreinfo.exe.
  2. Open the Command Prompt by entering CMD in Start menu search box and hit enter. If you are on Windows 8 CP or DP, switch to the Start screen, type CMD and press enter to start the same thing.
  3. At the command prompt and enter the full path to the file coreinfo.exe then press the Enter key. For example, if you save the file coreinfo.exe on the desktop, you must type in C: \ Users \ Username \ Desktop \ Coreinfo.exe and press enter.
