Windows 8 Still Lagging Behind Android and iOS


Microsoft has just announced the presence of Windows 8 to the public a few months ago. As with any other new product, the operating system has drawn praise as well as criticism.

One fairly sharp criticism coming from the American Internet entrepreneur and a professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Phillip Greenspun. He recently highlighted the renewal feature in Windows 8.

Criticism aimed specifically optimized for Windows 8 on a tablet computer. He mentioned that the OS is not capable of learning from a four-year Android or iOS have been present had breezed five years ago.


"The only device that is just as confusing, what I remember is the BlackBerry PlayBook," Greenspun wrote in his blog, as quoted from Know Your Mobile, Monday (12/10/2012).

"Suppose you are an expert user of Windows NT/XP/Vista/7, iPad expert users and expert users of an Android phone, you will not know how to use Windows 8," he added

Even so, Microsoft has confirmed that Windows 8 has been installed 40 million times since its launch. Which means that the operating system is quite some success
