follow these steps to create start menu in Windows 8:
- The first step is to right click the taskbar in Windows 8 we - select Toolbars menu - and click New toolbar
- Copy and paste the text below in the box the explorer window that appears - click Select Folder " %ProgramData%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs"
