back on its feet. A report by Digitimes "Taiwan-based supply chain makers" reveals that many vendors are already working on Windows 8 tablets to be released in the second half of 2013, most likely equipped with New Microsoft Windows 8.1.
As a result, it is projected that Windows 8.1 will be installed in 5 to 8 percent of tablets shipped globally in 2013, which basically means that 20 million units to hit the market in just a few months.
As you may have heard, Microsoft is also trying to make Windows 8 devices a bit more affordable by cutting the price of the operating system, thereby allowing manufacturers to sell their units at a lower price.
